LaREB (La Real Expedición Botánica) is a specialized producer-owned collective and export co-operative based in Colombia Founded by Herbert Peñaloza. They aim to provide transparency, traceability, and high-quality, sustainably produced coffee from regions like Risaralda and Huila. The group functions as a "radical" collective that enables farmers to set their own terms of engagement, focusing on high-quality agronomy, diverse processing techniques, and long-term partnerships.Diego is associated with high-quality, specialty coffee production in Colombia, including award-winning lots. Notably, winning the 2018 Best Overall Award at the Taza de Antioquia - a prestigious regional event.
This is Diego's first ever harvest of Gesha - so rad!! It's a beautiful example of a washed Colombian Gesha.It's soft, sweet, clean and citrus forward. I’m tasting physalis, lime and assam tea.
